About Me
I build machine learning systems for the life sciences and am currently working as an ML Engineer at Faculty. My PhD developed ML methods to predict and engineer the behaviour of living systems, and I took that research into industry as co-founder and CTO of neo-fossil, an engineering-biology startup turning atmospheric carbon dioxide into new fossils to lock it away for centuries, though we've since wound the company down.Alongside that, I produce and co-host Artificially Ever After, a podcast that demystifies the fast-moving world of AI for a general audience. Our mission is to give everyone the knowledge and confidence to navigate and shape a world increasingly defined by AI.
